How to invite someone to Loaf
Send your partner or another caregiver an invite link. Once they join, you can both see and add to your baby's logs.

Open Family from Loaf's Home screen and check your name. Tap Invite a caregiver, then Copy link. Send the copied link in a private message to the person you're inviting. Your caregiver opens the link in Loaf, enters their name and taps the Join button. If Apple backup is offered, choose Back up with Apple or Not now. Open Family to see the caregivers who have joined. This example uses Mom and Dad; the message itself is not shown.
Follow the steps
Before you start, install Loaf on both iPhones and connect them to the internet.
Open Family in Loaf
Open Loaf's Home screen. Tap the two-people icon in the top right to open Family.
Create an invite
Tap Invite a caregiver.
If Loaf offers Apple backup, choose Back up with Apple or Not now. You can continue with either choice.
Send the invite link
Tap Copy link. Paste the link into a private message to the person you're inviting. Send the message.
Ask them to join
Ask them to open your invite link on their iPhone. They enter their name and tap the Join button, which shows your family's name.
If Loaf offers Apple backup, they can choose Back up with Apple or Not now.
Questions about sharing in Loaf
Does sharing cost extra?
No. Sharing your baby's logs with other caregivers is free.
Who can join?
Each caregiver needs Loaf on an iPhone. Both iPhones need an internet connection to create and accept an invite.
How long does an invite last?
An invite expires after 14 days and only one person can use it. Create a new invite for each caregiver.
Can the person I invite change logs?
Yes. After joining your family in Loaf, they can see, add and edit its logs.
Do we need Apple backup to share logs?
No. If Loaf offers Apple backup, either person can choose Not now and continue.
If they already use Loaf with another family, joining yours switches their phone to your family's logs. Their old logs stay in their original family.
