How to log a bottle in Loaf
Log breast milk, formula or a mixed bottle. Loaf remembers the last bottle's details, so you can check them and save the next one.

Tap Bottle from Loaf's Home screen. Open the milk menu and choose the milk type. This example uses formula. Tap the amount, enter how much your baby drank, then tap Done. Tap Save. Open History to see the saved amount and milk type. The sample bottle is 90 ml of formula.
Follow the steps
Log the amount your baby drank.
Open Bottle
On Loaf's Home screen, tap Bottle. Check any details filled in from the last bottle before saving.
Choose the milk and amount
Open Milk type and choose Breast milk, Formula or Mixed. Tap the amount to type a number, or use the ruler and adjustment buttons.
For Mixed, choose Total only or Separate amounts. Separate amounts lets you enter breast milk and formula individually. Loaf adds them to show the total.
Check when the feed happened
The Started field uses the current time for a new bottle. If you are logging an earlier feed, open Started and choose when it happened.
Save the bottle
Tap Save bottle. The button also shows the amount when it is known. The feed appears on Home and in History. Tap Undo if you saved it by mistake.
Questions about bottle feeding in Loaf
Does Loaf remember the previous bottle?
Yes. A new bottle can use the last bottle's milk type and amount. Check those details and change anything that differs. Loaf does not save a new bottle until you tap Save bottle.
Can I use ounces instead of milliliters?
Yes. Loaf supports ml and oz. The family owner can change the shared units in Settings, and they apply to the other caregivers too.
Can I log a bottle I forgot earlier?
Yes. Change Started before saving. The earlier bottle appears at its actual time in History. A newer feed remains the latest feed on Home.
Can I edit a bottle after saving?
Yes. Open the bottle in History or Home's Feeds card. Change the details and save the edit.
Can I log a bottle without internet?
Yes, after Loaf has completed its first connected launch. The bottle saves on your phone and syncs when it reconnects. Other caregivers see it after sync.
